Gobi manchurian















Ingredients

Cauliflower – cut into small florets

Big onion – chopped

Celery – chopped

Green chillies – chopped

Garlic – chopped fine

Soya sauce
2 tbsp
Sugar
1 tsp
Salt
to taste 
Aginomotto
½ pinch
Maida
¼ cup
Oil
for frying

Mix cornflour, maida, egg, salt and enough water to make a thick batter.

Heat oil and fry cauliflower florets dipped in a batter.

In a frying pan heat oil (2 tbsp) and saute chopped onions, chillies, ginger, garlic and celery.

Finely add capsicum and saute for 5 minutes.

Now add soya sauce and saute for 5 minutes.

Add 1½ cup water, pepper powder, sugar and salt and let it boil.

When the gravy starts thickening and reduced to half the quantity, add the cauliflower and aginomotto and mix well.
