Hari Hari Yakhni (Green Green Soup)














Ingredients

Quantity
Shelled raw peas – coarsely ground
2 cups
Paneer – cubed and fried
300gms
Tomato – pureed & skinned
250gms
Oil or ghee
4 tbsp

Grind together:


Onions

Garlic
½ pod
Ginger
½”
Green chillies

Coriander leaves
2 tbsp
Cashewnuts

Cardamoms

Cloves

Coriander seeds
1 tsp
Salt
to taste


Heat oil and fry the ground masala for about 7 minutes. Add tomato puree and fry some more. Add ground peas and keep stirring. Add 2 cups warm water and cook till peas are tender. Before serving add fried paneer cubes.
