Hari Peleey Moti (Green Chile Dal)




Ingredients

Quantity
Chana daal
1 cup
Grated coconut
2 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp
Green chillies – slit
3
Asafoetida (hing)
1 pinch
Mustard seeds
½ tsp
Cumin (jeera)
¾ tsp
Oil
2 tbsp
Salt
to taste 


Boiled so that the dal is separate

Heat oil, add mustard and when it splutters add hing, jeera and slit green chillies. Fry for 2 minutes, then add chana dal, salt and peas. Stir. Cook for 5 minutes.

While serving, garnish with grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves.
