Gram Flour Chutney (Senaga Pacchadi)

1 gm
Chilli powder
1 tsp
Tamarind juice
1 tbsp
Green chilli

Plain yoghurt
¼ cup
Oil
1 tbsp
Black mustard seeds
½ tsp
Cumin seeds
½ tsp
Asafoetida
1 pinch
Salt
½ tsp


Mix gram flour in a quarter cup of water. Add chilli powder, salt, yogurt, tamarind juice and cook. Stir until slightly thick.

Add chop green chilli finely. Stir.

Fry mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafetida. Add as seasoning. This chutney is a tasty accompaniment to idlis, dosas, chapati, etc.
