Roast potatoes














Ingredients

Salt
to taste 
80 – 100gms
Fat
250gms
3kg


Wash, peel and rewash potatoes. Cut into even-sized portions. Parboil in salted water. Drain well. Heat fat in a roasting tray. Add the potatoes and lightly brown on all sides. Cook in a hot oven turning the potatoes once or twice. Cook to a golden brown. Drain. Serve hot with roast meat.
