Sarson Ka Sag (mustard greens)
















Ingredients

Mustard greens
750gms
Spinach
250gms
Chilli powder
1 heaped tsp
Ginger
1 small piece
Onions
50gms (1 small)
Salt
to taste
Ghee (clarified butter or fat)
60gms


Wash and clean mustard greens and spinach. Cut finely and put into a pan with a cup of water. Add chilli powder and half the ginger finely chopped. Cook over a very slow fire till done. Mash well. Add salt. In another vessel, heat the clarified butter. Add sliced onions and remaining sliced ginger. Brown.  Add greens and mix well. Serve hot with makki ki roti.
