Batata Chilli Fry

Boil and peel potatoes and cut into 2.5 cm (1”) cubes. Grind chillies, grated coconut and tamarind. Add ground spices, salt and jaggery (with sufficient water to cover potatoes) to the potato cubes. Keep on fire. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Fry crushed garlic in oil. Remove from fire and add fried garlic with the oil in which it was fried. Stir well and serve hot.
