Aloo Panir Khorma



















Ingredients

Potatoes
450gms
Cottage cheese (panir)
115gms
Coconut
55gms
Ginger
5gms
Green chillies
5gms
Coriander leaves
1 bunch
Onion
115gms
Fennel
1tsp
Cardamom, cloves and cinnamon
5gms  
Salt
to taste
Fat
55gms
Lime

Wash and dice potatoes and boil. Grind together ginger, chillies, coriander leaves, fennel and half the onions. Roast and powder cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. Grate coconut and extract milk. Heat fat and fry remaining onions. Add the powdered spices and the ground spices. Add cooked potatoes and fry well. Fry panir cubes till light brown. Add fried panir to potatoes. Add coconut milk and bring to boil. Serve, adding salt and lime juice to taste.
