Fried Rice


















Ø  2 tblsp oil
Ø  1 celery stalks slice
Ø  175 gms cooked rice
Ø  3 spring onions, chopped
Ø  1 egg
Ø  200 gms peeled and sliced prawns
Ø  1 tsp light soya sauce


Heat 1 tblsp oil in a wok or frying pan. Add celery and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the remaining oil. Add the rice and stir- fry until just lightly browned. Now add the spring onions and stir fry 30 seconds. Make a well in the center of the mixture.

Now beat the eggs with 1 tblsp water and pour into the well in a thin stream, stirring constantly until lightly scrambled. Add the prawns, ham and soy sauce and stir until heated through. Serve at once.
