Ø A big piece of fish weighing about half a kilo
Ø Oil for frying (using of butter is optional)
Ø 2 tblsp vinegar
Ø 6 tblsp soya sauce
Ø 10 tblsps water
Ø A pinch of ajinomoto
For making spicy paste:
Ø 4 large chopped onions
Ø 6 flakes garlic
Ø Black pepper and salt to taste
Ø A pinch of turmeric powder for colouring
Ø 1 tblsp tamarind pulp 4 tblsp of lime juice
Apply the paste on the fish and shallow fry till all the sides are brown. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer till fish is tender. Serve at once with rice. Serve 6 to 8.
