Carrot Thurum (Grated Carrot Curry)




Ingredients

Quantity
Carrot – grated
1 cup
Asafoetida
1 pinch
Green chillies – finely chopped
2
Coriander leaves
few
Oil
 2 tbsp
Lemon juice
2 tsp
Salt
to taste  


Heat oil in a skillet. When oil is hot, add Asafetida, grated carrot, chopped green chilli, coriander leaves and salt. Fry for six minutes on high heat. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.

It's very good as a salad or a light curry with chappati.
