Mock fillets of sole

Slice onions and fry in butter without browning. Add the milk and when it boils, add rice and mace. Boil and mash potatoes. When rice is cooked, add mashed potatoes and fresh breadcrumbs. Beat eggs well and add half to above mixture. Add pepper and salt and set to cool. Shape into small fillets. Coat with egg and breadcrumbs and deep fry. Serve hot garnished with slices of lime.
