Simmer washed lentils till cooked dry. Chop onions and
garlic fine. Fry both till well-browned. Flake the cheese. Beat the egg. Mix
all the ingredients together using vegetables stock to moisten. Bake in a
moderately hot oven, at gas mark 5 or 190oC (375oF) for
35 to 40 minutes. Serve hot with gravy.
