Sweet potato puran poli

400gms (4 medium size)

50gms ( ½ cup)

Skin sweet potatoes; cook them in a little water. Add sugar and cool till the mixture is dry. Mash well and add cardamom powder. Make a very soft dough with flour, water and oil. Keep for one to two hours. Make 8 balls of the sweet potato mixture and of the dough. Spread the dough thinly over each sweet potato ball. Roll out and bake on a thick griddle till done. Turn over and bake the other side. Apply fat or melted butter and serve hot.
