Shifta (mutton, beef or fish)



Ingredients

Minced beef or mutton or fish
500gms
Onions (minced)

Mint

Salt
to taste 
Turmeric
a little
Ginger
1.25 cm ( ½ “)piece
Eggs

Bread (soaked in water and well squeezed out)
1 slice


Mince all ingredients and mix together with eggs and bread. Then divide into approximately a dozen portions. Ball each portion and pass a “seekh” through moulding it in a long roll round the skewer. Roast on open fire till it is stiff and slides off gently. Before serving fry in oil and serve garnished with parsley
