Potato bonda















Ingredients

Bengal gram flour
250gms
Soda bicarbonate
¼ tsp
Salt
50 – 80gms
Water
750ml
Oil to fry
200ml
   

Boil and peel potatoes. Mash. Chop onions, ginger and green chillies finely. Heat 30ml of oil. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When mustard sees crackle, add chopped spices potatoes, turmeric and salt. Add lime juice. Mix well. Remove. Divide into 80 portions (the size of a large lime). Dip in prepared batter and seep fry.

Batter:

Sift together gram flour, soda bicarbonate, salt, water to a smooth batter of medium thickness.
