Akki wada (rice vada)

















Ingredients

Rice
1 kg
Split black gram
250gms
Salt
50gms
Cumin
20gms
Green chillies
20gms
Coriander
1 bunch
Oil for frying



Wash the rice, dry, the grind to powder. Soak black gram in water for 1 hour, then it to make a thick paste. Mix rice powder with this paste. Add salt and ground cumin, chillies and coriander. Press small portions if this paste on a banana leaf in the palm of the hand and fry in oil till they on the surface.
