1tsp (approx.)
Fat for frying



Sieve refined flour and salt. Rub in the fat to breadcrumbs consistency. Add sufficient water to make a dough. Roll and cut into rounds. Fill with prepared filling. Fold them over to make half a circle and press the edges firmly. Fry in hot fat or bake.

Filling:

Mix sugar and grated coconut with half a cup of water and leave it till sugar is dissolved. Mix well and cook. Add roasted gingelly seeds. Take it off the fire and let it cool.
