Oil for frying

Rub fat into the flour. Add soda, salt and enough water to
make a stiff dough. Let it stand for at least half an hour. Knead well. Roll out and cut with a 7.5 cm. (3”) diameter
cutter. Mix remaining ingredients. Put a portion in each round. Turn over. Seal
edges with water. Decorate edges deep fry in hot fat, till light brown.
