Ingredients

Quantity
Split gram (urad dal)
115gms
Green chillies
2 to 3
Coriander leaves
5gms
Curry leaves
1 spring
Coconut
10gms
Ginger
5gms
Peppercorns
2 to 3
Salt
to taste 
Oil for frying



Soak gram for an hour. Drain water completely and grind into a fine paste with salt and green chillies. Chop coriander, ginger and curry leaves fine, crush peppercorns coarsely and cut coconut into small pieces. Add to the ground paste. Meanwhile have oil ready for frying. Make lime-sized balls of paste and seep fry till golden brown.
