Mix gram flour and half the fat and pass through a sieve.
Fry the mixture in the remaining fat till it browns. Add mawa. Prepare sugar
syrup (one-string consistency). Add sugar syrup and powdered cardamoms to the
mixture. Mix it well. Pour onto a greased plate. Decorate with almonds and
pistachio nuts. Mark into diagonals. Leave to cool. Cut into cubes.
