Clean and mice meat. Mix with fresh breadcrumbs, salt,
pepper and minced onions. Form into even-sized cakes. Shallow fry till cooked
and serve hot with barbecue sauce.

Place in a thick-bottomed pan, the tomatoes peeled and
quartered, diced onions, sugar, salt and vinegar. Cook for 1 ½ hours or until
mixture ceases to look watery. Add finely
chopped chillies (without seeds) and cook for half an hour. Place in sterilized
jars and process by immersing in hot water for 15 minutes. Use for hamburgers or
cold meats.
