Coconut chikki

















Ingredients

Coconut
1 (225gms)
Jaggery
340gms
Fat
30gms
Cardamom
½ tsp


Grate coconut. Fry lightly in fat. Melt jaggery in about 20 ml of water. Cook till comes to the hard ball stage.  Add coconut, continue cooking stirring all the time till mixture is thick. Add cardamom powder and pour onto a greased plate. Spread the mixture. Mark into squares. When cold, cut into pieces.
