Tomatoes

to taste
Turmeric powder
½ tsp
Coriander powder
1 tsp
Green chillies

Chilli powder
1 tsp
Garam masala
½ tsp


Wash, soak and boil kidney beans. Chop onions fine. Blanch tomatoes and puree them. Grind ginger and garlic. Heat the fat. Add cumin. Fry the onions. Add ginger, garlic and fry till golden brown. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and slit green chillies. Fry. Add tomatoes puree. Cook for 7 minutes. Add kidney beans and cook till gravy is thick. Finish with ½ tsp garam masala and chopped coriander.
