Jeera Meera Kadhi












Ingredients
For 8

Coconut
1 (225gms)
Cumin
1/2 tsp (5gms)
Peppercorns
2 – 3
Tamarind
10gms
Red chillies
2 – 3 (3gms)
Garlic
10 flakes (5 – 7gms)
Coriander
½ tsp (5gms)
Clarified butter
1tbsp
Salt
To taste
Pomegranate rind



Heat half of the clarified butter. Add peppercorns, 2 flakes of garlic, coriander, cumin. Fry lightly. Remove. Add half of the remaining clarified butter and fry pomegranate rind and red chillies. Mix fried ingredients with coconut and salt and grind well. Heat the remaining clarified butter. Mix well. Serve with wet khitchdi or soft boiled rice.
