Dhal and pea Puris

Pick and wash lentil, shell peas. Crush green chillies into small pieces. Put in all ingredients expect salt and cook gently till tender and all water has evaporated. Add salt. Remove from fire. Sift flour. Add second lot of salt. Make a well in the centre. Add melted fat. Mix well. Add water and make a fairly stiff dough. Allow to stand for one hour. Divide in to even sized balls. Flatten. Put in small ball of filling. Pinch the edges to enclose filling. Roll out into thin puris using a little flour or rice flour to dust. Fry as for puris.
