Ø  500 gms legs of mutton
Ø  115 gms tomatoes
Ø  10 gms coriander pwd
Ø  15 gms Kashmiri chllies
Ø  30 gms fat
Ø  10 gms ginger
Ø  A pinch of nutmeg and mace
Ø  A pinch of saffron
Ø  A pinch of cumin
Ø  10 gms garlic
Ø  115 gms onions
Ø  Salt to taste
Ø  20 ml stock


Clean and cut meat into 1” piece with born

Chop onions, grind Kashmiri chillies (without seeds) coriander, ginger, garlic, cumin

Heat fat, fry onions add ground spices and fry well. Add chopped tomatoes.

Add meat,  fry for 5 minutes. Add stock, nutmeg, mace and saffron add salt

Cook gently till the meat is tender

Serve hot with chappathi, rice, etc;
