Ø  1 kg mutton
Ø  2 onions sliced
Ø  4 tsps grated coconut
Ø  1 tsp garam masala
Ø  6 red chillies & 4 green chillies
Ø  1 tsp jeera (cumin seed)
Ø  ½ tsp turmeric pwd
Ø  1” long piece of ginger, finely chopped
Ø  8 cloves of garlic
Ø  2 bunches of coriander leaves
Ø  4 tomatoes
Ø  1 cup dahi (curd)
Ø  ½ tsp saffron
Ø  20 almonds blanched
Ø  2 cups of ghee

Cut up the mutton into small pieces. Slice the onions and keep them aside. Grind all the ingredients together to a fine paste. Now heat ghee in a pan and fry the onion until it is light brown.  Add all the spices (ground) till ghee begins to separate. Now put in the mutton pieces and cook till the meat is tender and the gravy thick. Add dahi, saffron and almonds when the dish is ready. Again cook the whole lot on low flame till the gravy is thick. Serve it hot.
