Kele Ka Raita














Ø  2 cups Curd
Ø  2 Ripe bananas
Ø  ½ tsp Black pepper
Ø  1 tblsp Sugar
Ø  ½ tsp lemon juice
Ø  Salt to taste

Beat the curd well and then add sliced pieces of banana along with other ingredients. Stir them well together. Chill it and serve with curry.


Variation:

For the making sweet raita of kela or banana use the following recipe”

Ø  6 rip yellow bananas
Ø  4 cups of fresh curd
Ø  3 to 4 tblsp sugar

Beat the curd and place it in a glass dish. Peel and cut out bananas into thin round pieces and put them in the curd. Stir in sugar and chill. Serve it as after dinner sweet or as ordinary raita. Some people prefer mixing in this sweet variety of raita raisins and other sweet fruits like grapes and pomegranate.
