Ingredients
- 500 gms gobhi (cauli flower) well chopped
- 5 medium sized potatoes peeled and sliced
- 3 large sized tomatoes
- one cup curd
- one tsp. cream
- two table spoon ghee
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 inch long piece of fresh ginger
- 4 red chillies
- 2 medium sized onions
- 3/4 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. garam masala
- a small bunch of coriander leaves chopped, salt to taste
- a pinch of sugar
Grind onion, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and other spices into fine paste. Deep fry potatoes and cauli flower separately. Use separate ghee for this purpose. Heat 2 tsp. ghee and fry the paste till the ghee begins to separate.Now add sugar, fresh beaten curd and salt and stir vigorously. Add tomatoes, cauliflower and potatoes. Cook for a minute and then add a cup of water. Cover and cook till tomatoes and cauliflower are tender. Add fresh cream and cook for a few minutes. Now add garam masala and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
