Gene's Indian Kabob Sauce




Ingredients

Quantity
Onions – peeled
2 medium
Plain yoghurt (nonfat)
2 cups
Lemon juice or rice vinegar

Sugar

Pepper
to taste 
Ground cumin seeds
2 tbsp
Ground coriander seeds
2 tbsp
Garam masala
1 tsp
Cayenne pepper
½ to ¾ tsp
Chilli paste

Fresh ground ginger and garlic paste
2 tsp
Cilantro – chopped
to taste 
Turmeric
½ tsp


Liquify marinade ingredients in blender. Simmer until thickened slightly and flavor is set. Use as a marinade for kabobs or any meat or fish. Very good with rice.
