Fresh Green Chutney



















Ingredients

Chopped cilantro (packed)
1 cup
Fresh green chilli – chopped
1
Plain yoghurt
8 ounces
Salt
½ tsp or more if need
Ground pepper
1/8 tsp
Roasted ground cumin seeds
½ tsp
Lemon juice
1 tbsp


Put the cilantro and chilli in the contain of an electric blender with 3 tbsp water and blend until you have a smooth paste. In a non-metallic bowl, combine the yogurt, salt, pepper, cumin, lemon juice, and paste from the blender. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

To Serve:      Bring the cooled bowl to the table. People should take just a tablespoon at a time.
