Fenugreek Yogurt Stew (Menthi Majjiga)




Ingredients

Quantity
Yoghurt (1 day sour)
1 ½ cups
Turmeric
1 pinch
Coriander leaves
1 stem
Oil
1 tbsp
Black mustard seeds
½ tsp
Cumin seeds
½ tsp
Peeled black gram dal
½ tsp
Asafoetida
1 pinch
Green chillies
2
Red chillies
½
Salt
to taste 


Beat yogurt.

Chop green chillies finely. Pluck coriander. Add salt and turmeric to the yogurt.

Fry mustard, cumin seeds. black gram dal, asafetida and red chilli. Season.
