Dal Palak - 2

















Ingredients

Quantity
Moong dal  - presoaked
½ cup
Black peppercorns
2 whole
Chilli powder
½ tsp
Salt
to taste  
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Steamed palak (spinach)
1 cup

For bhagar:


Jeera
1 pinch
Garlic cloves – chopped
1
Whole red chillies

Wash the dal and put on low heat with 1 ½ glasses of water. Add spices and cook uncovered till almost done. Add the steamed palak and cook till thick to desired level. Temper with jeera, garlic and whole red chilli in a little oil.
