Dal (Indian Spilt-Pea Soup)
















Ingredients

Dry yellow split peas
1 pound
Celery stalk – finely chopped

Carrot – finely chopped
1 large
Onion – finely chopped
1 medium
Sweet butter
2 tbsp
Curry powder
1 tbsp
Lemon juice
1 tbsp
Bay leaf
1
Salt
½ tsp
Chicken bouillon cubes
3
Water
2 quarts


Place all ingredients in crock pot and stir, cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.  Garnish with chopped green pepper.
