Wash and soak beans overnight. Boil till tender in the same
liquid. Drain (use liquor for stock). Blanch tomatoes and make a puree. Add
vinegar. Pour into pyrex or aluminium pie dishes and bake covered in a moderate
oven for 15 – 20 minutes.
