Clean and cut meat into even sized pieces. Apply turmeric and salt and set aside. Grate and extract thick coconut milk. Slice onions. Roast and powder all spices expect fennel. Roast fennel separately and powder. Heat the oil. Saute onions. Add meat and fry. Cover and cook on a slow fire in its own juice. When all the liquid has evaporated, add thick coconut milk and roasted and powdered spices. Let it dry. Add fennel powder and lime juice. Remove from fire.
