Boil together lentil and tomatoes till tender. Heat the fat. Fry red chillies broken into small pieces. Add mustard seeds, cumin and curry leaves. When mustard seeds crackle add ground ginger and garlic, turmeric, tomato mixture and salt. Bring to boil. Add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and remove.
