Fish curry (green)















Ingredients

For 4
Fish
450gms
Ginger
½ inch
Garlic
8 – 9 cloves
Turmeric
¼ tsp
Coriander leaves
1 bunch
Salt
to taste 
Coconut
30gms
Cumin
¼ tsp
Fennel
¼ tsp
Green chillies
4 – 5
Lemon
½
Oil
30ml


Clean and cut fish. Wash again. Apply salt. Grind coconut, cumin, fennel, three-fourths of the garlic, ginger, turmeric and green chillies. When almost done, add coriander. Add juice of ½ lemon. Heat oil and fry 2 – 3 cloves of crushed garlic, add spices, water and a little salt. Cook till required amount of gravy remains.  Add fish; simmer till fish is cooked. Serve with lemon.
