Bhindani kadhi














Ingredients

For 4 to 6
Ladies fingers (slit in half vertically)
225gms
Buttermilk
225ml
Turmeric powder
1 tsp
Bengal gram flour
1 tsp
Ginger (chop fine)
1.25cm ( ½ “) piece
Green chillies
to taste
Coriander leaves
a few
Salt
to taste 
Fat
2 tsp


Make a paste of the gram flour with a spoonful of buttermilk. Add remaining buttermilk, turmeric, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt. Heat gently till the mixture thickens. Meanwhile, cut ladies fingers into 2.5 cm (1”) pieces. Season. Fry in hot fat. Add to buttermilk mixture and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
