Batate Sukhe

80 – 100gms


Wash, boil, peel and cut potatoes into small cubes. Roast coriander seeds, fenugreek, split black gram and red chillies. Grind coconut and turmeric along with roasted spices. Heat half the oil. Fry potatoes, add ground spices, tamarind pulp and salt and cook on a slow fire till the spices are cooked and gravy is thick. Remove from fire. Heat the remaining oil. Add finely chopped onions. When well fried, pour over potatoes.
