Ø 1 kg Prawn, cleaned and deveined
Ø ¾ cup Beef or chicken stock
Ø 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
Ø 1 tsp Cloves, ground
Ø ½ Creamed coconut
Ø 1 tsp flour & garlic, crushed
Ø 1 tsp lemon juice
Ø ½ cup oil
Ø 1 onion, finely chopped
Ø 2 tsp red chilli pwd
Ø Salt to taste
Ø 1 tsp sugar & turmeric pwd
Heat oil in a saucepan, saute chopped onion, garlic paste and ground cloves. Fry lightly, add flour, turmeric, chilli, sugar and cinnamon. Cook gently for a few minutes.
Gradually add stock and creamed coconut to the pan and bring to boil stirring constantly. Reduce flame and simmer for 10 mts.
Add the prawns and lemon juice. Season with salt. Cook for another ten minutes.
