Channa Dhal Vada (Chattambade)


















Ingredients

Channa dal
1 cup
Toor dal
½ cup
Urad dal
½ cup
Ginger ½ “
1 piece
Asafoetida powder
1 pinch
Green chillies – chopped
3 to 4
Curry leaves – chopped
1 spring
Salt
to taste 
Oil
for frying


Wash and soak the dhals for about 2 hours. Then grind the dals together to a very rough paste. Remove and mix together with the other ingredients. Take a little of the mixture and flatten into rounds and deep fry until brown. Serve with chutney.
