Boil and mash potatoes and line a bread tin. Heat the fat. Fry chopped onion, minced vegetables and seasoning; cook on a slow fire. Add beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Put the prepared filling into the tin; moisten if required. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes in a moderately hot oven at gas mark 5 or 190oC (375oF).
