Boil rice and lentils separately. Cool. Chop hard-boiled
eggs finely. Mix with cold cooked rice, lentils, pepper, curry powder, salt,
tomato puree and finely chopped ginger. Shape into sausages. Coat on egg and
breadcrumbs. Fry in deep fat till brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot
with fried or mashed potatoes.
