Sweet potato kheer


















Ingredients

½ litre
Sweet potatoes
100gms
Sugar
100gms
Rose water to flavour

Sultanas
30gms
Cashewnuts
30gms
Fat
20gms
Cardamoms
2 to 4
Saffron or colour



Fry sultanas and cashewnuts and keep aside. Boil or roast sweet potatoes in their jackets. Cool, peel and mash. Boil milk. Add sugar and potatoes. Add fried sultanas and nuts. Finish off with rose water, powdered cardamom and saffron.
