Rose water
a few droops
Salt
a pinch

Heat the fat. Lightly brown semolina, add sugar, salt, water and sultanas or raisins. Cook slowly till the grains swell and water is absorbed, stirring all the time. Remove when cooked. Add cashewnuts, rose water and crushed cardamoms. Serve hot.
