Ingredients

Potatoes
225gms
Onions
30gms
Bengal gram flour
115gms
Soda bicarbonate
a pinch
Salt
to taste 
Gram masala
½ tsp
Green chillies
2
Coriander leaves
1/8 bunch
Garlic
2 flakes
Turmeric
1/8 tsp
Oil to fry



Sift flour, soda bicarbonate and salt. Add enough water to make a thick batter.

Method:

Boil and peel potatoes, chop. Chop onions, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and garlic finely. Heat one tbsp fat. Fry chopped ingredients. Add potatoes, turmeric and salt. Mix well. Remove from fire. Divide into equal sized balls. Dip each ball in prepared batter and deep fry in fat till light brown. Serve hot with chutney if desired.
