Oil to fry

Sift flour, soda bicarbonate and salt. Add enough water to
make a thick batter.
Method:
Boil and peel potatoes, chop. Chop onions, ginger, green
chillies, coriander leaves and garlic finely. Heat one tbsp fat. Fry chopped ingredients.
Add potatoes, turmeric and salt. Mix well. Remove from fire. Divide into equal
sized balls. Dip each ball in prepared batter and deep fry in fat till light
brown. Serve hot with chutney if desired.
