Potato pak














Ingredients

Potatoes
200gms
Flour
200gms
Fat
100gms
Cashewnuts
300gms
Water
400ml
Cloves
3
Rose essence
a few drops
Sugar
400gms

 
Boil peel and mash potatoes. Heat half the fat and mashed potatoes. Add flour to remaining fat and fry till light brown. Mix potatoes and flour together. Prepare a thick syrup with sugar and water, adding cloves while boiling. Remove the cloves, add the potato mixture to the syrup and cook till the mixture sets. Remove from the fire. Add essence. Pour the mixture on to a greased plate and decorate with chopped cashewnuts. Cut into cubes and use as required.
