Green gram bhajiya

Coconut (grated)
30gms
Garlic
4 flakes
Chilli powder
1 tsp
Onions
100gms
Coriander leaves
½ bunch
Green chillies

1 tsp
Cumin
½ tsp
Soda bicarbonate
½ tsp
Turmeric
½ tsp
Vinegar
1 tbsp
Lime juice
1 lime
Oil to fry



Pick and wash gram. Soak in water for 5 to 6 hours. Grind coconut, coriander, green chillies, cumin and garlic. Mix with the gram. Add finely chopped onions, salt, soda bicarbonate, vinegar, turmeric, chilli powder, lime juice and a little oil. Mix well and keep aside for half an hour. Heat the oil (for deep frying). Put in teaspoons of mixture and fry till golden brown.
